2. Manuscript Template
Manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines in the MS Word article template. [download the template here]
All manuscripts are submitted to JBKI are checked for compliance before being sent for review. All information on terms and formats is in JBKI template. Read carefully and please pay attention and adjust it to the format. Writing a script that is not in accordance with the rules / format / template may be rejected. Please confirm proof of submitting your manuscript to the Editor.
3. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts are prepared in the A4 paper size (210 x 297 mm) using margins; Top 1.9 cm, Down 2.8 cm, Left 1.43 cm, and Right 1.43 cm. Manuscripts are written in 2 columns (width 8.5 cm, spacing 1.14 cm). The length of the manuscript is at least 10 pages. It is strongly suggested to only using writing features provided by MS. Word (bold, italics, subscript, superscript, equation, etc.). For equation, it is accepted to use MathType. Ensure that each new paragraph is clearly indicated by paragraph indentation. Tables and figure and their captions are embedded directly in the manuscript. All parts of the text in the manuscript are written in Times New Romans 12pt font and single line spacing.
Manuscripts begin with title, name(s) of author(s), affiliation(s) & email address (es), abstract & keywords, followed by contents which include Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Notation (if any), Acknowledgements, and References.
Title, Author Name, Author Affiliation, Author Address, Corresponding Author
- Title of article must be concise and informative. It is suggested to do not use abbreviations and formulae, that are not widely known.
- All authors are written below the tittle. Please use a complete name but without academic degree.
- Indicate all affiliations with a lowercase superscript number immediately after the author's last name.
- Author affiliation is indicated with a lowercase superscript number which corresponds to author name.
- Ensure that the e-mail address is given and that contact details are kept up to date.
Abstract and Keywords
The abstract written in Indonesian, concise and factual and able to explain manuscript information accurately. Describe the main points of the research, including the background, research objectives and focus, methods used, findings or results and conclusions from the full-length paper. End with a final sentence that covers what you most want the reader to think about as they read the script. Type with one space and between 150-200 words in length. Avoid unnecessary information. Such as trade names, acronyms, abbreviations, or symbols. This section contains the extract (abstract) of your research. All information on terms and formats is in JBKI template.
Keywords are provided immediately after the abstract. Provide a maximum of 7 (seven) keywords. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes. Each keyword is separated by semicolons (;).
Introduction
Introduction consists of research background, a brief literature review describing state of the art of the research and the objectives of the work.
Methodology
In this part, materials and research procedure are written. Methodology must provide sufficient detail to allow to be reproduced. If there is a mathematical formulation/modelling, please give clearly description and evaluation of the model.
Results and Discussion
Results should be clear, systematic & constructive and followed directly by comprehensive discussion to support the research objective and conclusions.
Tables
Please submit tables as editable text and not as images. The table is placed next to the relevant text embedded directly in the manuscript. Number tables consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text and place the caption above the table.
Figures
Figures are prepared using uniform letter and readable size. Present figures and their captions embedded directly in the manuscript. The caption is numbered in sequence and placed below the figure. You are urged to provide good quality of figure with high resolution format e.g. i) vector graphics (EPS, EMF, PDF), ii) Color or grayscale photographs (halftones), keep to a minimum of 300 dpi (TIFF or JPEG). Please do not supply figures with too low resolution like GIF, BMP and WPG.
Conclusions
The main conclusions should be presented in brief and concise. They answer the aim of the study and must be based on the results obtained.
Notation
Notation is listed based on an alphabetical order. Greek symbol is written first and then followed by alphabetical label. Please provide an appropriate information and unit for the notation.
Acknowledgements
Authors could acknowledge institution providing research funding (with grant number) and individuals who provided help during the research.
References
Reference must follow the style of writing of the American Psychological Association, Sixth Edition (APA 6th). At least 15 references are used. Ensure that all references to the text are listed in the reference section and vice versa, and that the spelling of the author name and year is consistent. Please do not use footnotes or endnotes of any kind.
We require all of you to use reference software such as MENDELEY, ZOTERO, or ENDNOTE for easy quotation. Reference should be the latest and relevant literature available (about 5-10 years ago). The use of literature (more than 10 years ago) may have allowed at least 25% of the total references used in the manuscript. Example format of the 6th APA publication manual:

4. Reviewing of manuscripts
Every submitted paper is independently reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation and made by Editor. If two or more reviewers consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the authors within three months of the submission date.
5. Revision of manuscripts
Manuscripts sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. Revised manuscripts can be sent to editorial office through the Online Submission Interface (http://journal.stkipsingkawang.ac.id/index.php/JBKI). The revised and resubmit manuscripts returned more than 3 (three) months will be considered as new submissions (rejected/decline submission).

The author should fulfill the form as detail as possible where the star marked form must be entered. After all form textbox was filled, Author clicks on “Register” button to proceed the registration. Therefore, Author is brought to online author submission interface where Author should click on “New Submission”. After this submission, Authors who submit the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, Authors are able to track their submission status at any time by logging in to the online submission interface. The submission tracking includes a status of manuscript review and editorial process.
