The Learning of Optics Based on Science Process Skills to the Improvement of the Learning Outcomes of Physics Education Students
ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the improvement of the learning outcomes of physics education students in learning optics based on science process skills. The research method used was quantitative. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest. The population and sample used were 11 students in the fourth semester of the Physics Education Study Program. The data collection technique used was a test technique to measure student cognitive learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used in this study was a normalized gain test and t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in the learning outcomes of physics education students after applying optics learning based on science process skills. This could be seen in the high category's n-gain value of 0.95.
