PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR IPAS BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL KALIMANTAN BARAT UNTUK SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar perlu menghubungkan materi dengan lingkungan dan kehidupan sosial budaya siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengembangan bahan ajar IPAS berbasis kearifan lokal Kalimantan Barat menggunakan model 4-D yang meliputi define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan subjek analisis kebutuhan satu guru dan 22 siswa kelas IV. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, validasi produk, dan uji keterbacaan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang digunakan belum mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal secara sistematis. Kebutuhan siswa terutama berkaitan dengan contoh kehidupan sehari-hari, bahasa sederhana, gambar, aktivitas, dan lingkungan sekitar. Produk yang dikembangkan memadukan materi IPAS dengan lingkungan, budaya, sumber daya alam, kegiatan ekonomi, keragaman sosial, pelestarian lingkungan, dan teknologi lokal. Hasil validasi dan uji keterbacaan menunjukkan bahwa produk layak digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar IPAS berbasis kearifan lokal untuk siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.
