PENGEMBANGAN METAKOGNISI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN GEOMETRI MENGGUNAKAN MODEL KONTEKSTUAL PADA SISWA SMP
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengembangan metakognisi siswa melalui pembelajaran kontekstual dalam materi volume kubus dan balok. Subjek yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini, yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Samalantan Kabupaten Bengkayang. Penelitian dengan subjek tunggal dan desain A-B-A digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan dimaksud. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model kontekstual dapat me-ngembangkan metakognisi siswa yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kemampuan hasil belajar siswa dari 5,31 menjadi 8,41.
